" 2005-06 ADOPTIONS HIGHEST EVER "
This past fiscal year proved to be a record setter. Florence Animal Shelter set a new record for the most adoptions ever in a twelve month period for their shelter. From October 1, 2005 till September 30, 2006 the total pets adopted was over 1100.
Normally, in years past we considered 400 or more adoptions to be great. "This is a direct result of several things. First, hard work by our staff here at the shelter, and our partnership with Pet Depot. We didn't just pass the record, we destroyed it, and plan to continue setting new records."
