We have six full time employees, the director, the supervisor, three officers and a clerical person.
Our adoption policy is as follows. All pets are $65.00. This includes a spay or neuter certificate and rabies shot. It is law that all animals leaving the shelter be altered to help stop over population.
We are a municipal agency that cares for unwanted, stray and injured animals. We enforce city ordinances that pertain to animals. We also contract with the county commission to provide county residents a place to bring unwanted pets at no charge.
